About Us

The Rutland Rugby Club was founded in 1983. Over the past 3 decades we have become one of the premiere rugby clubs in the State of Vermont. Currently we are members of USA Rugby and the New England Rugby Football Union competing in the Men's Division III as well as High School Girls division.

We have hosted and participated in numerous Championships and Tournaments including 2001 DIII Championships, New England HS Championships.

Our goal is to promote the spirit and lifestyle of the sport throughout New England. As the 2016 Olympics approach look for Rutland natives to compete for a spot on our National Squad as USA Rugby returns to the Olympics and prepares to defend it's Gold Medal.
